We moved into the house on July 18, 2001. It's a two-storey, 2200 sq. ft. house
built in 1985. It features 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (including 1 ensuite), oak
flooring, 4 bay windows, walk-in closets, a wrap-around veranda, french doors,
and central air. The 1 acre lot includes lots of trees, rose bushes, various
gardens, bird feeders, and 2 fish ponds. When we purchased it, it was mostly
covered by 3 feet of snow, but year-round pictures are now available. The previous
owners recently installed a new gas furnace, gas fireplace, concrete walk, patio,
new carpeting and a central vac. The property has municipal water and sewage
connections, and a well for lawn watering.
The property is located in the heart of the village of Carp,
12 minutes away from Ann's work in Kanata. The village's stores are a few minutes
walk from the back yard of the house, and the Carp fairgrounds and community
centre are a couple blocks away.
The above pictures are of various rooms of the house, when the previous owners put it on the market. In other words, we don't have all the nice furnishings.
