What PLUS Membership offers over Basic Membership...

an email address at the trusler.net domain, i.e., your_name@trusler.net
(see about other domains).

a homepage at the trusler.net domain, i.e. www.trusler.net/your_name/homepage.html.

email forwarding. Mail can be forwarded from your trusler.net
address to your work address, or home ISP address.
PLUS Membership advantages:
At the heart of how we are identified is our name.
TRUSLER.net PLUS Membership offers an opportunity for Truslers to use their
name as an email address. No email address is easier for someone
to remember than a person's name. Also, it means that you don't have
to reveal your employer or ISP, whose names frequently comprise email addresses,
to everyone who contacts you over the Internet. Similarly, your homepage
can be identified by your name as well.
Having another, permanent email address also
has its advantages. Let's say that you tell everyone that your email
address is at trusler.net, but decide to forward all your mail to work
or home automatically. When you change jobs or ISPs, you can change where
your email is forwarded, without having to tell everyone a new address,
because they'll still send it to trusler.net
Do you qualify for PLUS Membership?
Of course you do! Anyone is welcome to join.
There are some rules about email addresses however. If your are or
were a Trusler or a Trussler, you can get an address at the trusler.net
domain (see about other domains).
You can choose to have your user name (which precedes the '@trusler.net')
as your first name, middle name, nickname, or whatever you name you like
to go by. If you've never been a Trusler or a Trussler, you can still
join, and get an email address at trusler.net. The only restriction
is that your user name should indicate your last name, e.g.: john_smith@trusler.net.
Note: PLUS membership has only limited
availability at the time being, until our server is moved to increase capacity.
At that time, we will be offering PLUS Membership for a nominal fee of
$10CDN/year or less, to be decided after the move. The fee is only
used to offset the cost of providing full POP3 accounts - TRUSLER.net is
a NON-PROFIT site. Until the move, we are offering mail forwarding
only, at no charge. This allows members to get an address at trusler.net,
but it must be forwarded to their own account elsewhere for retrieval.
After the move, members will get full PLUS Membership and be assessed the
annual fee at that time.
